What Youll Be Doing We have a brand new opportunity to join our FP&A team, where you will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, partnering with our Operations team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the Operations team regarding budgets and forecasts and all their financial support needs. This hybrid role, based in either Tamworth or London, requires occasional travel between sites. This is a permanent role, but open to candidates looking for a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Partnering with key stakeholders in Operations on budgets, forecasts, and other financial support, including tactical cost saving initiatives and longer term investments Manage budgeting and forecasting for capex, operational COGS, and customer service costs Conduct monthly financial result analysis and identify risks and opportunities for future financial and operational planning Develop operational reporting and support on designing KPIs tailored to operational goals Support labour and fulfilment modelling and reviews. Assist with financial data requests for the senior finance team Support on both financial and operational projects About you: Qualified accountant, ideally CIMA, but ACA/ACCA or equivalent is accepted Ideally 3+ years experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance Proven analytical expertise, with a strong ability to interpret financial data and perform complex financial modelling and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision making. Some exposure and understanding of ways of working within Operations or Logistics and a commercial understanding of how they can impact the business. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and drive continuous improvement in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, Tableau Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely.
