Field Service Engineer - MiningWho You AreYou have Trade relevant Mechanical/Electrical engineering qualifications Fitter, Fitter machinist, mechanical engineer, with proven, hands-on, post qualification experience, assembling and disassembling mechanical (separation) machinery and components.You are an individual that has excellent organizational skills to record service tasks in a clear concise service report and submit all job-related paperwork and expenditure in a timely manner.You are a great communicator, able to discuss issues and advise solutions to our customers equipment and processes.You must be confident & self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously or remotely supported, able to follow direction and instructions with ease.You have a good level of physical fitness, and you must have the digital mindset and skills to work with the business tools and help drive our companys digitalization journey.You are willing to be involved with our Capital Sales team on long term trial projects to promote and develop our business.Location & TravelWe are open to this position being located anywhere in New South Wales within a 1.5-hour commute to a domestic airport.This newly created position will be a hybrid role, working remotely (WFH) as well as on site. The travel required would mainly be to our Sydney office and surroundings, as well as regional New South Wales. However, semi frequent interstate travel should also be expected.About the JobYour duties will include:Servicing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Decanter centrifuge- mainly Mining application.Implementing and driving field and lab testing with decanter centrifuge.Be able to read & interpret engineering drawings, manuals, exploded diagrams & P&ID drawings, process flow diagram.Compiling of technical service reports.Servicing of Highspeed separators used in other applications.Work to high level of Health & Safety Compiling & working to JSEAs. SWMS, permit to work, Take 5 etc.Being part of a pioneering team developing new applications via trials.The satisfaction of keeping equipment running reliably with happy customers.The diversity of working on customers site, equipment and application types compared to being rigidly located on one site.A combination of regional & interstate work with paid overtime and weekend/public holiday work.What you KnowBasic understanding of mining processes.Mechanical fundamentals.Experience with Decanter centrifuge machines.5 to 10 years experience in Mining or similar industryPLC Control systems experience would be highly advantageous Siemens, Allen & Bradly, B&R, DCC, EPC 50/60.Electrical troubleshooting experience would be highly advantageous (but not essential)Australian connect/disconnect license.You will require a full Australian driving license.Have strong English written and communication skills.Have strong digital skills Word, Excel, Lotus Notes.Able to pass Mining industry medical requirement.Hold an Industry white card.Hold a forklift license (preferable, not essential)Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship #J-18808-Ljbffr
