The Company, established in 1980, comprises of a strong Board, Executive group and a highly talented team of people with significant industry experience.About the roleReporting to the Insights Product Manager, the GIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing spatial data, maintaining and improving the quality of the MetroMap insights product and AI derived features from aerial imagery, developing market-fit spatial solutions and managing delivery to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesThis dynamic role encompasses a few key responsibilities:Implement quality control and processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.Data label preparation for training Machine Learning models.Management of third-party data contractors.Production, extraction and delivery of MetroMap Insights products.Perform spatial analysis to extract meaningful insights from Geospatial data.Development of market-fit solutions for customer problem.About youTo be considered for the role, you will need:Minimum 5 years proven experience in GIS, spatial analysis and geospatial data management.Bachelor''s degree in geographic information systems, spatial science or related field.Experience with database management systems (PostgreSQL).Basic scripting and computer programming.Understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning concepts.Demonstrated experience in documentation of processes and workflow.Understanding of remote-sensing, photogrammetry and GIS.Proficient use of GIS software (QGIS, Global Mapper, ESRI ArcGIS).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management skills and client relation skills.Ability to make quality decisions based on all inputs presented and meets objectives.Why Work with usWe understand that your career choices are important.
