They plan, manage, and deliver Queensland''s integrated transport environment to achieve sustainable transport solutions for road, rail, air and sea.The OpportunityThis AO4 Program Engagement Officer facilitates the efficient delivery of the Northern District''s Queensland Transport and Roads Infrastructure Program (QTRIP) through the provision of strategic communication services to program managers and project teams across Northern District.Provide communication advice and support to Program Managers and District staff on risk assessment, issues management, community consultation, and communication strategies for projects, using appropriate tools.Write and coordinate correspondence, draft media statements, and respond to media inquiries for the Ministers office and senior management to support Northern District''s road infrastructure program.Conduct community engagement and stakeholder consultations during the development and delivery of Northern District''s road infrastructure program.About YouPlease apply right away if you have experience in:A degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing is highly desirable.Experience in a communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will also be highly regarded.To ApplyApplications in Word format should be forwarded to us by clicking the Apply button below.
