Vacancy for Collection Management Archivist (Digital) at Queensland State Archives Vacancy for Collection Management Archivist (Digital) at Queensland State Archives 17 March 2023 Brisbane $92658 - $100498 Fixed Term We are looking for an archivist to join the Digital Archives team in this exciting andrewarding role. You will be analysing and preparing born-digital records for ingest into the digitalarchive and undertaking complex arrangement and description activities to enhanceaccess to the Queensland State Archives collection. In this role you will: undertake complex arrangement and description of activities of archival recordsin all digital and analogue formats according to the Australian Series System andinstitutional standards prepare born-digital records for ingest into the digital preservation system. Thisincludes using the Forensic Recovery of Evidence Device (FRED) to extract recordsfrom physical media create policies and procedures for managing born-digital records including ingest,storage, preservation, arrangement and description and access and take an activerole in managing these records contribute to the analysis of the archival management system and the digitalarchive and make recommendations for improvement set and maintain standards in line with national and international trends and bestpractice and promote and communicate these standards internally to ensureconsistent, accurate contextual and descriptive documentation research and prepare complex reports, presentations, correspondence anddocuments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
