As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level.This role would suit a candidate with 5 + years of experience in Building Services and Electrical Infrastructure projects with a strong technical acumen and commitment to client service that is looking for an opportunity to work as part of a national discipline team on challenging projects across Defence, Health and Government buildings. You will need to be a problem solver, who is able to think bigger picture and participate in design delivery and coordination across engineering disciplines, whilst demonstrating a high level of communication and client collaboration.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign and management of electrical engineering for building services and infrastructure projects that include design, specification, and reporting aspects. Provide technical direction, oversight and management of both engineering and design projects.Demonstrate sound judgement and technically accurate and feasible engineering and consultation solutions.Establish professional engineering standards and procedures. Consult, recommend, and advise in specialty engineering areas.Site based inspections, engineering, and commission services to internal and external projects.Determine and apply appropriate standards and methods to minimise health, safety & environmental risks.Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (acceptable by Engineers Australia for membership and eventual Chartered Status)Demonstrated competence of Electrical & Electronic engineering and project management within an engineering consultancy.Experience within Defence, Health, Critical Facilities, Government Buildings, and Infrastructure is preferred.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to compile detailed and accurate reports, specifications and design documentation.Proven experience providing consultation across multiple engineering disciplines.Highly consultative, with proven record of building & maintaining client relationships.Benefits of ACOR:Attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience.Ongoing professional learning & development.Structured career pathways.Paid Parental leave.Work life balance in a flexible and inclusive environment.Regular social events and fundraising activities.Discounts on everyday products and services.100% employee-owned company.If you are a motivated individual who welcomes new challenges, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
