Job share role in a large, vibrant service.Join our skilled OSHC team as a Part-Time Coordinator, sharing the role with an experienced Coordinator who works three days per week. This opportunity is ideal for an Assistant Coordinator ready to take the next step, or a Coordinator wanting experience in a larger service, or someone seeking a great worklife balance.The role offers 27 hours per week, with a mix of before- and after-school care shifts. The service is licensed for 165 children and delivers before school, after school, and vacation care programs.What makes St Bernardines OSHC special? Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children''s interests and needs.Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety. RequirementsDiploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.Previous childcare service management experience.Child Protection training is required for this role.Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
